Energy Evaluation Services Ltd were instructed by Galliford Try Partnerships to provide a feasibility study to confirm the  preferred low carbon technology to be installed in the ground floor commercial units. Galliford Try was targeting 3 credits for BREEAM Ene04 – Low and Zero Carbon Technologies. The possible use of PV had already been ruled out, as all potential roof space had been allocated for PV use associated with
the dwellings on the upper floors. After liaison with Royal Borough of Greenwich a successful scheme was developed proposing Air Source Heat Pumps for the heating and MVHR (heat recovery) to deliver the 20% LZC required by the client.  EDSL Tas (Dynamic Simulation) was used to
